I took the 1963 PRIMO VW DOUBLE CAB PICKUP TRUCK to the worlds largest VW show a few weeks back, the VW CLASSIC. I have read about this event in VWTRENDS Magazine since I was young. I never thought I would attend, nevermind driving a PRIMO double cab. The crowd loved the truck, everyone took photos. The Hawaii boys came over to represent their VW Club, and couldn’t believe the PRIMO Truck. It was funny because one guy works for our beer distributor and actually drives a PRIMO delivery truck! ” Big Island…Small World eh”
One bus, as I just saw in USA Today was at the show that stood out, well…it sold at auction for over $210,000 yesterday! Here are some photos from the show.
